IRMAA and Part B differential payments

Once IRMAA 2016 payments are made in October, FISA will be able to process payments for the Medicare Part B differential based on the IRMAA payment file. Therefore, the Medicare Part B differential payment is targeted for November 2017.

FISA is currently finalizing the Medicare Part B differential programming.

Please note that any new IRMAA applications we receive after we process the October Payments will be processed as PYC and will receive the payment in the following month. Furthermore, any retirees submitting a Medicare Part B differential payment request who did not receive IRMAA payments will be included in the December 2016 payments since this group needs to be manually processed based on the documentation we receive from retirees.
