Interscholastic Coaching Courses

The UFT offers a series of non-credit courses, required for all coaches except those certified physical education teachers and classroom teachers who qualify under the "grandfather clause," which covers any certified teacher in New York State, appointed by a board of education as a coach at a New York State secondary public school prior to Sept. 1, 1974.
