Stanley S. Lamm Preschool

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the UFT's Stanley S. Lamm Preschool Chapter. We represent about 40 staff members at the Stanley S. Lamm Preschool in Windsor Terrace in Brooklyn. The chapter’s first contract in 2008 recognized the UFT as the collective bargaining representative of all full-time, regular part-time and per diem teacher aides, teaching assistants and psychologists employed at the school.

The Stanley S. Lamm Preschool is a not-for-profit preschool for special education students. About 135 children, ages 2 to 5, attend the school, which was established in 2001. Located at 500 19th St, Brooklyn, it was named in honor of the late Dr. Stanley S. Lamm, the founder of the Lamm Institute for Child Neurology and Developmental Medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn.

As a UFT member, you are entitled to attend UFT courses and receive member discounts, which you can access on the lefthand sidebar of this page.
