Free Professional Development on Mental Health and Emotional Support April 19
There will a free, all-day professional development training for social workers, psychologists and other care providers on Thursday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Queens Library at Flushing, 41-17 Main St.
This professional development event from Samaritans Suicide Prevention Center and Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone in association with the DOE's Office of Safety and Youth Development will explore issues and challenges health providers face when responding to young people's mental health and behavioral problems.Â
