Contract grade-in

Our March citywide action was a grade-in on Thursday, March 30! Read more

A grade-in is a public demonstration, like a sit-in, where educators bring their grading, paperwork and planning work to a public area such as a coffee shop, a park or a library to illustrate the total amount of work they have to do outside the instructional day.

Bringing our work at a grade-in into the public sphere draws attention to our contract campaign and grounds us in our communications with communities about our fight for a fair contract.
