Guidance counselors chapter update September 2013

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome back! I hope that you all had a nice summer vacation and have returned rejuvenated.

I know that we have a lot of tasks to address as the school year begins, including the college application process for our students and their families. Please take a moment to read about the Wall Street Finance and Scholastic Track Program (FAST Track), an excellent opportunity for high school juniors and seniors. In this program, students who are women and minorities are eligible for classes, internships and scholarships in the financial services industry.

As you disseminate information to your juniors and seniors about various scholarships and application deadlines, please identify those students that you believe make the best candidates for this program.
