UFT Veterans Committee members again paid tribute to the country’s veterans by participating in the annual Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Water Street in lower Manhattan on May 21. Besides the UFT group, veterans from other union locals and the honor guards from Junior ROTC programs at the HS of Graphic Communication Arts in Manhattan and Long Island City HS in Queens participated in the ceremony.
