I decided to start the year off with a celebration of things my kindergarten and 1st-grade ESL students did last year. I cut out paper balloons and glued on pictures of students on trips, performing a play, at the public library and during graduation. It was exciting to greet students this year with fun memories of last year. It gives students a great year of memories to look forward to.
