Our school is in the process of adopting a program called 'The Leader in Me.' We want our students to understand that having a job in our classroom goes beyond completing the job. The goal is for students to feel empowered and to realize that contributing benefits the classroom as a whole. We want to get students away from the 'me, me, me' mentality to developing a sense of empathy and community in the classroom.
