The UFT supports members in their pursuit of higher education for career growth, skills enhancement and personal development. That is why we urge you take advantage of free Open Houses and workshops offered by The Joseph S. Murphy Institute for Worker Education at CUNY this fall.

If you are interested in pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at a CUNY college, register for any of the Open Houses available at Brooklyn College, Lehman College, the College of Staten Island and Queens College.

In addition, I encourage you to sign up for free Leap to Teacher program workshops. These workshop are designed to help participants prepare for the teacher certification Educating All Students (EAS) Test and the Combined Early Childhood and Childhood Multi-Subject (CAS) Test. Registration is required and details for workshops are listed below.

Workshop dates are different from Leap to Teacher Open House dates, and no CTLE credits will be provided at any of these events.

All workshops will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you register for either a workshop or an Open House and cannot attend for any reason, send an email to Keenya.Browns@cuny.edu.
