Management pay plan update

On March 13, the UFT filed a Summons/Notice of Petition against the NYC Department of Education in the Supreme Court.of the State of New York. This is in reference to the recently implemented 2 percent increase, retroactive to Sept. 24, 2017, for employees covered by the Management Pay Plan. The basis for the lawsuitis that the DOE’s failure to provide these raises to UFT-represented administrative education officers/analysts violates the June 2016 agreement which enabled our titles to be represented by the union.
