A color-coded library

New York Teacher

I am a 12:1:1 high school alternate assessment teacher at a District 75 school. In my first four years of teaching, I have learned the importance of organization, routines and consistency in the classroom. One of my goals as a new teacher was to create an organized, color-coded library system in my class to increase student independence in selecting and returning books to the library.
