Voice patrol

This is one classroom management technique I use in my 1st-grade classroom: Every Monday, a new student assumes the responsibility of being our ‘voice patrol’ person. This individual is in charge of assisting me to monitor our voice levels throughout the day. The numbers suggest levels, accompanied by the words, and the arrow serves as a visual aid. The lights are touch activated and are kept on as another visual reminder.
