- Tuesday, Nov. 1: There will be a free CPR training at 5:50 p.m. at PS 13, 557 Pennsylvania Ave. in Brooklyn. Space is limited, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Register by calling 718-240-2743. See the flier »
- Wednesday, Nov. 2: Come to the annual New York City job fair from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hotel Pennsylvania, 407 7th Ave. and learn about job opportunities with many city agencies. Register online now »
- Saturday, Nov. 12: The New York Urban League invites high school students to its historically black colleges and universities fair from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Riverbank State Park, 679 Riverside Drive. Representatives from some 45 historically black colleges and universities will be available to answer questions and provide on-site admissions. - Campaign for Hillary: The UFT is bringing volunteers by bus to Philadelphia to do canvassing to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton on Saturday, Oct. 22 in this battleground state. Buses will leave at 7:30 a.m. from UFT headquarters, 52 Broadway. Reserve your seat »
