Secret ballots for school-based rank-and-file members were mailed to schools on May 19. Ballots will be:

• filled out by members and sent by the chapter leaders to the American Arbitration Association by May 30;
• counted by the AAA, which expects to count and announce the results on June 3.

Chapter leaders who do not receive ballots or enough ballots must contact their borough offices.

Certain members, depending on their titles or situations, should receive their ballots at home. These ballots, once completed, must be sent to the AAA with a postmark no later than May 30.

Any of these members who do not receive a ballot should call their UFT borough office.
