New radio ad exposes Cuomo's tax credit bill as a public giveaway to the ultra-wealthy

New York State United Teachers on May 28 launched a new radio advertisement airing in Albany that slams Governor Cuomo’s proposed education tax credit as his “latest scheme to give tax breaks to the super-rich and divert funding away from public education.”

The 60-second ad quotes recent editorials in The New York Times and the Albany Times-Union critical of the proposed tax credit which, the ad notes, is “designed to let big corporations and billionaires funnel money to elite private schools of their choosing in exchange for huge tax breaks."
