All teachers who are new to the New York City Department of Education and who will begin teaching this fall will be invited to take part in professional learning opportunities during the DOE's New Teacher Week, which will be held from Aug. 24–27. During New Teacher Week, teachers will be provided with important information and resources and will have the opportunity to attend professional learning sessions facilitated by experienced staff. New teachers will receive registration invitations and additional details about timing and locations via email by July 31; please register by August 17.
