- Saturday, Oct. 22: The Far Rockaway Seahorses will have their homecoming football game this Saturday at noon at the Far Rockaway Educational Campus, 8-21 Bay 25th St. There will also be a ceremony honoring noteworthy alumni at 10 a.m. Tickets will be $3 at the gate.
- Friday, Oct. 28: Come to a free concert of songs by Beethoven, Schubert and more atr King Manor Museum in Rufus King Park, Queens from 6 to 8 p.m. This is one of many free community events that happen in NYC parks all the time. - Campaign for Hillary: The UFT is bringing volunteers by bus to Philadelphia to do canvassing to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton on Saturday, Oct. 22 in this battleground state. Buses will leave at 7:30 a.m. from UFT headquarters, 52 Broadway. Reserve your seat »
