The NYC DOE After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP) offers NYC teachers the opportunity to take high-quality, low-cost P-credit courses that can be applied to their salary differential as well as the New York State requirement of 175 hours of professional development. All courses are aligned with the Common Core Standards and the Danielson Framework for Teaching, and they are offered online and in-person.

This summer ASPDP is offering over 200 courses that cover a variety of content and pedagogy. Courses are taught by DOE instructors as well as nonprofit organizations and cultural institutions such as the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Botanical Garden, the Wildlife Conservation Society, Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation, NYC H2O and many more.
