The UFT will hold its first-ever  citywide Tier VI Pension/Tax-Deferred Annuity workshop on May 18, at union headquarters, 52 Broadway, Manhattan, from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m. 

Tier VI is the pension plan for members who joined TRS on April 1, 2012 or later.

 Topics of the workshop include: 

• aving for retirement (TDA);

• esting your pension — resigning before attaining eligibility to collect and collecting when you are old enough;

• he formula for pension calculation;

• ealth benefits after retirement; and

• ension and TDA loans.
