How to enter

1. Teachers and staff, email schools@dsnyc.nyc.gov to get your school's unique validation code. Include your school name, address and borough.
2. Use your code to create an account.
3. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email you receive after you create your account.
4. To register for the Zero Waste Schools Awards, click on the Contest Page, then click Register. Follow the prompts.
5. Begin posting!

The submission deadline is May 14. Winners will be announced by June 1, and the event will be held the week of June 12.
