Therapists should not sign students in or out of classrooms to record our time. Our time is recorded electronically in SESIS only — not in written form.

If a teacher needs to set up a system with you to keep track of when a child is in or out of the classroom, work with the teacher on an alternative to signing in and out. For example, sometimes children move their picture or name on a bulletin board or other posting to an OT/PT slot.
