Regarding the March 7 protest outside IS 96 Seth Low [see “‘Blindsided’ at Seth Low” on page 10], where a Success Academy co-location will be going forward: The audacity to use taxpayer money that is earmarked for public services to instead fund private industry — this is deplorable. Every parent should have the right to choose their child’s education, but those schools (if considering themselves separate as they do in how they’re run) should be separate and find their own space and fund themselves.
