I’m glad Mayor de Blasio talked Carmen Fariña into the job. She was my superintendent back in my District 15 days and they were some of my happiest days as a teacher. I felt like what I did mattered and I was respected. Back then she came after a dictator named DeStefano and the energy shift was immediate. I am hoping for that again.
