Retired Teachers Chapter Leader Tom Murphy is at it again with his lies. Obamacare is not effective. Medicare is not in better shape than pre-Obama.

I used to see a chiropractor during the year as needed. Now I must take X-rays for the same problem that I have had for the past 22 years, and I have to pay for visits after the allowable amount. That’s just one example of what’s wrong.

A non-civil service employee must now pay an additional $50 a month for the same coverage, just for being a HIP member.

In addition, my son works for a private corporation and is paying a higher premium with less coverage under Obamacare. Two of his doctors that he liked are now retiring because of the decreased payments they receive. The only ones benefiting from Obamacare are those on the dole.
