Regarding the most recent anti-tenure lawsuits, the UFT saved due process 46 years ago when we went out on strike for three months. We will save it today when the fight takes place in the court.

Due process is essential in the education of children in a democracy.

The attack on due process is an attack on our union. We must preserve due process and maintain the strength of our union.

We won the battle in 1968 and we will win it today.
