Autism Spectrum Disorder Nest workshop
Some 400 general and special education educators attended a daylong workshop sponsored by the Autism Spectrum Disorder Nest program to kick off the new school year at UFT headquarters on Aug, 29. Staff working in the Nest program — now in 31 schools — learned strategies to help high-functioning children with autism succeed academically, behaviorally and socially.
