Back to School 2014
There were the usual smiles, tears, nerves and excitement across the city as students and teachers returned to public school classrooms on Sept. 4 to begin the 2014-15 year. The one big difference: 50,000 4-year-olds arrived for the first time under the DOE’s expanded full-day pre-K program.
