Better Speech and Hearing Month Celebration 2016
The UFT’s Speech Improvement Chapter honored students and their therapists while observing Better Speech and Hearing Month during an awards ceremony and reception at UFT headquarters in Manhattan on May 19.

With the guidance of provider Jaimee Samson, Giovanni Rescigno of Gramercy Arts HS in District 2, Manhattan, designed a phone app called Disclose Me that students can use to tell teachers what their disabilities are and what accommodations they need.
