Federation of Nurses/UFT Professional Issues Conference 2016
Members of the Federation of Nurses/UFT attended the chapter’s annual Professional Issues Conference at the Westin New York Grand Central on Nov. 18–19. UFT Vice President for Non-DOE Members Anne Goldman, who is Federation’s leader, told attendees that their advocacy has resulted in improved health care for patients around New York City.

The New York City Labor Chorus opened the two-day conference with several oldies but goodies, including Woody Guthrie’s “Union Maid.” The chorus got the nurses on their feet with a rousing rendition of “Solidarity Forever.”
