Mulgrew visits IS 52, Manhattan

During a visit to IS 52 in Inwood, UFT President Michael Mulgrew spoke with the staff about the new teacher evaluation system and the issues with the Common Core curriculum that the school has purchased. He reminded teachers concerned about the threat of a second high school co-location in their building that the union has initiated a lawsuit to halt the Bloomberg push for co-locations beyond his tenure and that mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio has called for a moratorium on the practice.
