Mulgrew visits International HS at LaGuardia Community College
“You are doing amazing things with the toughest population in New York City,” UFT President Michael Mulgrew praised the educators at Queens’ International HS at LaGuardia Community College during a Sept. 3 visit one day before students returned to classes. “You prove that this is what happens when you have a respectful community of educators working with children.” Mulgrew also applauded them for opting to participate in the new PROSE program, which gives schools more flexibility in how they operate.
