Orientation for new speech teachers
Hundreds of new speech improvement teachers came to UFT headquarters on Sept. 18 for an orientation to learn about lesson planning, observations, portfolios and tenure and share best practices and strategies for building a collaborative culture at their schools. The meeting was a joint collaboration between the UFT, the Department of Education Office of Related Services and the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators.
