November 14, 2013: AFL-CIO President Richard Trumpka (right) stopped by the Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans headquarters, with Nevada AFL-CIO Executive Secretary-Treasurer Danny Thompson (center), to thank the group — including Richard Miller (left), the RTC Las Vegas section coordinator — for participating in a rally protesting the government shutdown on Oct. 15. Miller is also a vice president with the Nevada Alliance for Retired Americans.
