Staten Island Parent Conference 2013

More than 180 parents and community members turned out for the union’s Staten Island Parent Conference on Nov. 16. Entitled “Circling Around Student Success: Home–School–Community,” the conference promoted strategies for successful outcomes for children, said Joan McKeever-Thomas, the UFT Staten Island parent and community liaison.
