The proposed teacher contract was approved by the UFT’s 89-member Executive Board at 7:40 p.m. tonight at the meeting at 52 Broadway.

The contract will be considered by the union’s 3,400-member Delegate Assembly on Wednesday, May 7 at 4:15 p.m. at the New York Hilton.

If approved, the contract will be submitted to the entire active membership by secret mail ballot. Expect the final count in early June.
