Registration is now open for our 13th annual Guidance Counselors Conference, which will take place on Saturday, March 18 at UFT headquarters.

This year's theme is "School Counselors: Help Students Realize Their Potential." Join your fellow counselors for some fascinating and useful workshops including:

  • Implementing a Character Education Program
  • A Beginner's Guide to Navigating Google Drive
  • Academic Responsibility and Teaching Students to Take Charge of Their Academic Lives

Our keynote speaker is Terence Houlihan, a school counselor and adjunct professor at Lehman College, CUNY, who has presented on adolescent development at local and statewide conferences for counselors.

We will provide breakfast, lunch and opportunities to network with your colleagues. The exhibit hall will also feature many new vendors and agencies that can provide you with a wealth of information and guidance materials. The registration fee, which covers meals and workshops, is $30. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 15.

Each attendee will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the conference.
