There was plenty taking place at the first Retired Teachers Chapter general membership meeting of the school year in Shanker Hall on Oct. 16. RTC members, who heard from UFT President Michael Mulgrew, were reminded to vote no on the constitutional convention, were informed that the annual medical benefits pullout was inserted into the Oct. 5 issue of New York Teacher and were brought up to date on other important topics.
