Medicare Part B 2021 reimbursements were distributed in mid-April 2022. Retirees who have direct deposit set up for their pensions should check their bank accounts for a deposit made on April 15, 2022. Retirees or eligible dependents of a retiree with Medicare Part B were reimbursed at the rate of $148.50 per month.

The New York City Office of Labor Relations is no longer reimbursing retirees for their Standard Medicare B premiums at the old monthly rate of $109. Instead, the reimbursement is made for the actual rate paid since 2020. There is no longer any need to request a differential reimbursement.
