The UFT is holding certification workshops for paraprofessionals in all five borough offices.

These workshops are for paraprofessionals who have received a letter from the DOE notifying them about possible termination due to outstanding certification requirements. At these workshops, the union will help paras find out what they need and how to get it done by Aug. 31, the deadline to remedy any issues. They’ll also find out at this workshop if they need the new DASA bullying class.

These workshops will take place on the following dates. All workshops will be held from 4–6 p.m.
