NYSUT journal seeks articles

New York Teacher

The 12th volume of NYSUT’s academic journal Educator’s Voice is seeking proposals for articles that showcase practices or programs in any grades on the topic of culturally responsive teaching. The deadline is June 15. New York State’s classrooms are among the most diverse in the country. As our school communities welcome a growing population of culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse students, we are challenged to help them assimilate and to build a school community that is responsive to their diverse needs.
