Article 10 — Overtime

A Registered Nurse who works in excess of thirty-five (35) hours but not more than forty (40) hours in the work week shall have the option of being paid for those additional hours at the  Registered Nurse’s regular hourly rate, or receiving an equivalent amount of compensatory time off for such hours worked.  A Registered Nurse who works in excess of forty (40) hours in the work week shall be paid at the rate of one-and-one-half (1.5) times the Registered Nurse’s regular hourly rate.  For this paragraph’s purpose, a Registered Nurse’s work during a work week will be deemed to include all holidays, personal days, vacation days and paid sick leave days.
