Marilyn Froim was a UFT member for 35 years, retiring as a home economics teacher from PS 225 in Brooklyn at the age of 54. She was well-liked by her middle school students and her fellow teachers. Marilyn’s taught her students how to prepare food from her own recipes, as well as the social, mathematic and scientific elements of cooking and sewing skills. She was an active participant in her local UFT chapter and was proud of her membership in the union. Marilyn is survived by her cousin, Dr. Alice Honig, her niece Linda Vogel, her nephew Jeffrey Dubin, her daughter Sherri Kramerson, her grandchildren Alanna Kramerson Seamans and Lori Kramerson, and her great grandchildren Sophia and Emmaline Seamans.
