I wanted to create a space at home that resembled my physical classroom so that when my students saw me virtually they would feel at home. I made sure to bring home little trinkets from around my classroom as well as my famous twinkle lights! I have since added drawings from my kids and gifts they gave me before the pandemic. It has provided my students and me with comfort and familiarity.
