Summer hours: 9 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday. 

Our new visitor policy

Visitors, including UFT members, to any UFT office must provide proof of vaccination or evidence of a negative COVID PCR test taken within the last 72 hours. Children under 12 do not need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test but those over age 2 must remain masked throughout their visit to the UFT office.

Over the summer, the union answers phone calls on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Borough offices

Over the summer, UFT borough offices are open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.– 5:15 p.m. Please note that borough offices are closed from Aug. 15 to 26 and will reopen on Monday, Aug. 29, on the modified summer schedule through Labor Day.
