Indoor temperature regulations

New York City Department of Health regulations require the following:

From October 1 through May 31, the indoor temperature must be 68.0 F or above when the temperature outside is less than 55.0 F between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., the temperature inside must be at least 55.0 F when the temperature outside is less than 44.0 F.
