The third annual School Psychologist Appreciation Day drew more than 150 school psychologists to UFT headquarters in Manhattan on Nov. 20 for lunch, a vendor exhibit and presentations.

The careers of recently retired members were celebrated before a turnout of nearly 1,000 on Nov. 20 at the annual New Retiree Luncheon at the New York Hilton, Manhattan.

Hundreds of members of the Federation of Nurses/UFT attended the chapter’s annual Professional Issues Conference at the Westin New York Grand Central on Nov. 16.

The library was packed with members from PS 48, the Joseph R. Drake School in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx, as they met on Nov. 15 with UFT President Michael Mulgrew to discuss the new contract, particularly the elements of the new Bronx Plan, and other issues.
