Braille Challenge 2017

The second annual Braille Challenge, an academic competition for the visually impaired, took place on Jan. 21 at John F. Kennedy Jr. School in Queens. Children of all ages competed in four categories including reading comprehension and deciphering charts and graphs.

Clinician’s Professional Development Day 2017

The 11th annual Clinician’s Professional Development Day drew more than 300 school social workers and psychologists, who came to hone their skills and spend some time with their colleagues in a supportive environment. The all-day event took place at UFT headquarters in lower Manhattan on Jan. 20.
