District 31 Meet the President

At a Meet the President event with 305 members on Staten Island on Jan. 20, UFT President Michael Mulgrew focused his remarks on the Friedrichs case before the Supreme Court, which threatens the financial stability of public employee unions. Mulgrew explained that this case was brought forward by a small group of rich, powerful people “who think our voice does not matter and should not be heard.”
