Community Learning Schools Retreat (Brooklyn)

Dozens of educators, parents, and staffers from community partner organizations as well as the DOE attended a retreat hosted by the NYC Community Learning Schools Initiative. Two plenary sessions focused on mitigating chronic absenteeism and school-based health care. The retreat also featured five well-attended workshops in which participants collaborated with peers to strengthen their skills.
